What an awesome day. Left here at 1ish, got to Boston at 2:30 on the nose. Parked in the new Emmanuel garage, then waited for Sean...and waited for Sean...and called Nycholle...and waited for Sean...
He showed up after a while, since he was at Simmons, and was nice enough to buy me lunch! So we headed to the Galleria, then we chilled in his room for a bit, I met his roommate, nice guy.
We left at 5 to meet Kristen and head to Good Time. Ahh, the T...just as I remember it...loud, creaky and stinky...
Once at Good Time we watched WrestleMania 21, I met sk3
and had a very brief chat, though it was nice to put a voice with the text, and then we headed back home.
I didn't wear a coat out, cause I didn't want to reek of smoke, little did I know that there's no smoking at Good Time now...and it was a rather chilly walk back to the Sullivan Square orange line stop.
Sean stole the ATM's pen...and Kristen did NOT write that...
Walking across the Fenway green I randomly said, in the voice of Rod from Avenue Q, a line from the song "If You Were Gay", more specifically I said, "Why should I care? I don't care!" and Kristen, rather surprisingly, immediately recognized it, and so we serenaded Sean with verses from the song until we got to Simmons, at which part she departed.
We ordered Nan Ling, and chilled, ate, and chilled, and then I came home.
All in all, terrific day, even if I didn't get those Hoot wings...
As for Mania, what a show! Though the two World Title matches seemed a bit stunted, the undercard shined! Kurt Angle v. Shawn Michaels is a definite MOTYC, and the Money in the Bank Ladder match was superb. All in all, an excellent show from top to bottom, not one match dragged a bit.
Feel better Pooky, love ya
