This is going to take a while to write, it may not be too long, but this is going to take me a while...

I knew this was going to happen, last night, this morning, I knew something was going to happen, I knew something bad was going to change the life of either myself or the people around me, but I didn't expect this... It was odd. I woke up this morning not wanting to leave the house, knowing that something bad was on the horizon, but I went, because I had to go, because I missed a day last week, and because I had to sign up for a field placement, so I left.

I was on the T when it happened, I didn't know anything at all about it, a girl on the T got a phone call, and I didn't think anything about it, but I now realize the importance of that girl's cell phone call. She had said something about two planes hijacked and crashed. I didn't expect this...

I got to school, there were murmurs in the hallway, I got more details. I have never felt like this before, it's almost a psychic kind of thing, except it feels bad, down, depressing. We went through History class as usual, not fully realizing what history was happening not that many miles away.

After History I went to the College Center to get some reading done and to sign up for Placement. When I got there the place was packed, with people signing up for placement and people watching the NBC News coverage. It was here that I learned what really happened, and I fell back into the chair that was behind me, in total shock. The feeling returned, and it hasn't yet subsided.

Now three Trade Center buildings have collapsed, the Pentagon is in Chaos, and Afghanistan is being bombed, I didn't expect this...

Didn't expect this at all...
