Good Christian
Yesterday was fun, went out to lunch, went and saw a movie, came home, had dinner, watched another movie on HBO, then watched some other stuff and went to bed. I think the one thing that could've made yesterday better was if I'd done those first two things with a girlfriend of my own, instead of having to borrow someone elses. Though it was her idea to chill yesterday, so I don't feel so bad. :P

The two movies that I saw were "The 40 Year-Old Virgin" and "Sideways", and I enjoyed both. "Sideways" won't appeal to everyone, but "Virgin" is awesome. Yes it is.

Today I worked, then went to Fridays for dinner, and now I'm watching baseball...thaaaaaaat's it...

We're promoting the new movie "Zathura" in the store now. It looks pretty good, and I kinda want to see it, there's just two things that make me cringe. First off, in the trailer we show, there's a clip where the younger brother says "Meteors, take erasive action!" Y'know...erasive instead of evasive..that cute little kid malapropism gag that's been done to death? You know the one. The other thing is, the other part of the tape is a little behind the scenes preview kind of thing, and they're talking to the girl who plays the big sister, and she says, "It's cool because we're taking real people and putting them in funny situations...and seeing how they react." No...no you're not. You're taking scripted characters, in scripted scenes, with scripted reactions...there's nothing really "real" about it...

Three movies in two days, that has to be a record for me. I just finished watching "Mystic River" on HBO, and I thought it was also really good. Definitely not a movie for everybody, really dark, lots of twists and turns, lots of raw emotion, but I really enjoyed it.

I don't work again til Wednesday, and then not again until next week. The new holiday people are training this week, so they got all the hours, next week should be better...hopefully...

It's fookin' windy outside, jeepers...

There was a trailer for a new Ryan Reynolds movie that played before "40 Year-Old Virgin" yesterday, hell if I can remember the name of it now, but, in the movie, Ryan plays a guy who was really really fat and unliked in high school, loses the girl of his dreams cause of it, then goes off, get's good looking, and comes back, finds the girl, and tries to win her back. Stupid cliche movie plot, yes, but there was a scene in the trailer where FatRyan and the girl are talking, and she gives him the "Just friends" speech. I cringed...i hate that fucking speech...and every time I hear it, it gets worse and worse. I could go on, but lord knows i've bitched about this topic enough to anyone who actually reads this thing...

Killer Bees: Holy Shit!!

For those of you who watch TNA: Is it me or is Monty Brown clinically retarded?

Keep cool, mah babies!

absolutely, I was having this conversation with Joey earlier:

"Alright, Mr. Brown, now that we've got your character set, what do you think your finishing move will be?"
"I'ma run into 'em"
"What?"
"I'ma run into 'em...real hard..."
"Now, Mr. Brown, do you really think that's a good finisher?"
"I'll eat your face!"
"Uhm...ok...so you'll run into them...really hard. Do you have a name for this move?
"Run into 'em...real hard..."
"Mr. Brown..."
"Into 'em...hard"
