And it's still here in my house, it's just sitting in a box in the dining room waiting to be shipped out on Monday via my dad's work. For those of you who don't know, the second USB port on the front doesn't work correctly, so I have to send it to Texas to get it fixed. *sigh* As long as it's back before Christmas I'll have time to finish unlocking stuff in SmackDown! vs. Raw 2007 before taking it down to my uncle's to play with the kids. Good times.
It was a good Thanksgiving, had a home-cooked Turkey Day meal for the first time in three years, watched football in HD on a 61-inch flat-panel television. That's the only way I'll watch football voluntarily, in HD. It was amazing to see the detail and clarity, but god damn does Terry Bradshaw's bald scalp look fuckin SCARY in Hi-Def. Anyway, I couldn't stop thinking about how awesome my 360 would look hooked up to that big huge TV. *drool*
And now it's Black Friday again. This'll be my third Black Friday at Discovery, and every year it's gone pretty well. Busy, of course, but nothing really psychotic happens. Plus, there'll be more turkey and fixins from Jane. I'm working 2:30-11, the mall opens at 7, which is ridiculous, but whatever, I'll be asleep :)
I just spent $250 on Amazon.com, I bought the complete M*A*S*H set, which is now $175, it was $150 when I sold Amanda (amalathea
) my M*A*S*H season sets, and CDs by the bands from the concert Tuesday night.
The concert, by the way, was fucking amazing.
I guess that's it for now, Happy Thanksgiving everybody :)
