I've been thinking, recently, about elementary school. There's a couple things I miss about those days, and here's what they are:
1) Reading Carnival. For about a month leading up to this thing our parents would sign off each night on how long we'd spent that day reading, then, for each hour you read you'd get an allotment of tickets, then the second half of a day would be spent out on the playground where they had set up different games and raffles and prize tables and whatnot. It was good times, because I would read anyway, and we basically got a half day off from school.
On the same note
2) Field Day. Spend an entire day either outside or in the gym playing games and doing trivial little things like seeing who could walk fifty yards the fastest while balancing a raw egg on a spoon or who could do the most chinups or who could climb up that god-forsaken rope. Now, I sucked at field day when I was in grade school, but I know that these days...I could kick those little kids' asses.
In other news:
Been to the gym three times in four days, gotta get attractive so people'll wanna DO me
That and there's some really good looking people there :D
March 17th I get to see Nycholle for the first time in far too long, and Theatre!Matt for the first time in far too longer! Should be good times.
I think I'm gonna eat a granola bar, finish watching Conan and go to bed
