Why not write a LJ post?
Cause I don't have very much to talk about, that's why!
But I think I can fake it, cause it's this or reading CNN.com until 8.
First off, let's talk about wrestling. Save_us.222 more specifically. I am psyched for this reveal. Even though everyone knows who it is, I'm still amped to see how they pay it off. I won't be purchasing Cyber Sunday this weekend, but I will be watching it *wink, wink*, and if the reveal happens there, as has been rumored. I have faith that it's going to be awesome.
That's right...awesome...from the WWE...I said it.
Making fun of the Ku Klux Klan in LOLSpeak is quite entertaining. "I CAN HAZ WITE PAWUR?"
So, how rigged is Cyber Sunday anyway? I mean not just rigged in having us vote for two lackluster candidates and then the one they really want us to vote for, I mean rigged in, "We'll just tell them their votes count, then do it the way we want to anyway." Y'know, kinda like the 2000 Presidential election.
I have to wake up ungodly early tomorrow and go in to RKM at 10am so I can do some training for the other half of the market research field. Taking all the information and making it look pretty and putting it where it needs to go. But! I only have to work from 10-2, and then I can go to the gym, and have dinner, and I don't have to work my 5-9 shift, so I get to watch the entirety of Game 1. Woohoo!
This is actually my last night of classes for my first term here at Hesser. Technically the term doesn't end til Thursday, but I just turned in my portfolio for my Media Writing class, so I'm all done there, and I'm gonna take the final for my radio class in-class, so I don't have to take it home. That means that I don't have to come in for either class on Thursday, and I just have to come in Wednesday or Thursday night to get my schedule and books for next term and I'm good to go. It looks like Dad and I will be coming over here on Thursday so I can do that, and then we'll be hit Epping on the way home and have dinner at Applebee's with our favorite waiter.
Speaking of Applebee's, they have these new deserts that come in big shot glasses (Probably doubles, but I don't drink so I'm not 100% sure) that are $1.99 apiece, and they're delicious. Last night we went to Friday's for dinner, and it turns out they have the same type deal, also $1.99 apiece, except the ones at Fridays come in regular-size shot glasses, which makes them a total ripoff.
Good god it's only been twenty minutes...

Ahh, much better.
It's almost November and I don't have my Christmas shopping done yet. That's not a good thing. Looks like I might have to do some online shopping this year, if this keeps up. The biggest thing keeping me from getting it done is actually two-fold, but they stem from the same thing. They closed the Discovery Channel Store, which is where I would buy my cousins' presents. Since they closed the Discovery Channel Store I have a different job which pays more per hour but has less hours, therefore I'm broke all the time. Since they closed the Discovery Channel Store I've gone back to school which means I'm busy all the time, which means I haven't really had time to go out shopping.
If my uncle (who reads this) would just tell me what his daughter wants for Christmas...this wouldn't be such a problem now, would it? Jeez!
Anyway, I haven't been back to the mall in two months. The mall I used to work at, and therefore went to at least three times a week, and I haven't even set foot in the place in two months. Not even the awesome Mexican restaurant on the outside end of the food court!

Well, that was fun, and now it's quarter after six. Only another hour forty-five to go.
Turns out I'm going to have the same two teachers, in the same order, next term. Which means next term should, hopefully, be just as easy as this term, cause I've already built up a reputation with these two as a hard-working, competent individual who doesn't screw off...most of the time. Should be good.
My buddy Jose let me borrow "Ali G: Indahouse, The Movie" and I watched it last night. It's a bad movie, but it's a good bad movie, not a bad bad movie. That is to say it's...Space Mutiny, not Shooter.
I think after I take the final in Radio I'm gonna hit up the Taco Bell and get those new chili nachos, those sound good.
What the hell else can I talk about? I've still got an hour and a half to kill here...
Next term is Radio 2 (aka Advanced Radio as opposed to Intro to Radio) and Media and Public Relations I think it's called. I think that for the term after that I'm going to start the video side of things, I think it's a natural progression. After that...I have no idea...
As for the World Series, the Rockies worry me. Sure the Sox are currently on one hell of a roll, but the Rox have had eight days to rest and recoup, and they're on an even...heller...of a roll?
Anyway, they've won 21 of their last 22, which is an astounding feat, they swept the Phillies and the D-Bags...Backs...in the first two rounds of the playoffs, and are now steamrolling their way towards Fenway Park. I know we'll win at least games one and five, go Beckett. Schilling's a question mark in game two, but, as always, a lock in game six, Daisuke still scares the shit out of me, and we don't even know who the fourth starter's gonna be. Lester? Tavarez? Snyder? Super Robo Beckett?
Have faith, my friends, have faith.

See, I've turned in my final project, so I could just leave and go upstairs for the next hour and twenty minutes until my next class starts at 8:10, but there's even less to do up there than there is down here.
Cinnamon and Brown Sugar Pop Tarts are my guilty pleasure.
That and killing hobos for money...
One hour to go...
I can't wait for Guitar Hero III to come out next week, cause then I can go back and play GHII with a working controller. I got one of the first-run GHIIs for the 360, and I got one of the faulty guitar controllers (it likes to strum even when I don't tell it to, making me lose combos and streaks), but since I lost the receipt there was nothing I could do to exchange it. So when III comes out on the 28th I can use the new wireless guitar controller to play both. I haven't gotten very far in II because I get really annoyed at the controller screwing me over.
I'm gonna miss the really cute chick in this class who's too young for me (19, don't get any ideas) but I'd still bang anyway...
God I wish this stupid net filter would let me get on yahoo games and do the crossword puzzle for today, though this piece of crap probably doesn't even have Java on it. It doesn't have flashplayer, i know that much.
It's absolutely gorgeous outside right now. I love driving around in October, late October at that, with my window open. God bless you Al Gore.
Alright, forty-five minutes to go...
This is what ADD does, my friends...FEAR ME AND MY RANDOM BRAIN-NESS!
Y'know what you don't hear anymore? I'll tell you, "The following contest is scheduled for one fall, with a twenty-minute time limit!" Or, the more rare, "The following contest is scheduled for one fall with TV time remaining!" What happened to time limits? Where did they go? I mean, they haven't disappeared completely, you can still select them as options in the video games, and the odd iron man match still appears once in a blue moon, but as a whole wrestling is no longer rigidly timed. Those were the good old days.
Here's a buzzword that needs to go: "Underemployed."
That's not even a real thing! They use it in ads for those crappy trade schools like the one I go to, "If you're unemployed or underemployed come to our shitty school and learn how to do a shitty menial labor job that pays fairly well!"
"Underemployed" is some asshole sales guy's way of saying, "Minimum wage hellhole," it's a meaningless fucking term and it needs to go.
35 minutes remain in Battle Boredom...
If the Red Sox sign A-Rod in the offseason I will cry...I swear
Please keep Mike Lowell
Please keep Mike Lowell
Please keep Mike Lowell
