It's Tourney Time!

Had a good day today. Started off with the SmackDown! vs. Raw 2008 Tournament at GameStop. I arrived at about 12:45 and was asked to pick a character, so I chose Kane.

Round One:
Kane vs. Edge
Hell in a Cell Match
Victory by Pinfall

This was a good match, the kid I was fighting was really good and we went back and forth for a while before i managed to score the pinfall.

Round Two:
Kane v. Bobby Lashley
10-Minute Ultimate Submission Matck
Loss, 2 falls to 0

This was not a good match. It was on the PS2, which I'm completely not used to anymore, so I was having trouble reversing, while the other kid was reversing eeeeeeeeeeverything. Oh well. It was double elimination, so I was still in the tourney.

Round Three:
Elimination Chamber Match
John Cena v. Randy Orton v. Edge v. Kane v. Lashley v. Sandman
Entered: 4th
Eliminated: 2nd

This match pissed me off, cause the two dudes who were Cena and Orton decided to team up and double-team everyone else who came in so they could eliminate them before anyone else came in.

So it came down to Team Douchebag and The Sandman, with everyone rooting for the Sandman, cause he was a cool kid and was wearing a Bret Hart t-shirt and, of course, Team Douchebag d-bagged him out of a victory.

Even the GameStop dude was annoyed with 'em, so he set up a three-on-two match, Lashley/Sandman/Edge v. Team Douchebag, with victory for the Hitman kid on the line. Team Douchebag took the loss after some weird PS2 ref AI glitches, and the kid got to take home the $10 foam WWF title belt and his choice of a WrestleMania 23 DVD, John Cena's new DVD or a WWE Duffel bag.

He took the Mania DVD, Cenakid took the Cena DVD and the other d-bag was left with the...d-bag.

Then I went to work, and it sucked balls.

OH! And while I was at the store the dude who was there on Tuesday when I tried to pick up my games had my two missing copies transferred over from another store, so I now have all three copies of my SmackDown. The DS one is fun, but takes some getting used to, and I haven't played the Wii version yet, so judgment has yet to come, but I'll let you know.

Those "Quick-Dissolving" Listerine teeth-whitening strips seem to work pretty good. If you care...

This year's Salzer Family Home-Cooked Thanksgiving Dinner is brought to you by Bugaboo Creek Steak House...goddammit...

Snuggles? Sex? Anyone?

Bueller?

Wow. You actually made games sound unapealing to me.

Listerine whitening strips... are they the type that you have to messily glom onto your teeth, or are the more of those breathe strip things?

And... thanksgiving will be from a steak house? Ugh. A restaurant dinner on thanksgiving or christmas... the idea is abominable to me. HERESY!!!

Point 1: Wha?

Point 2: Glom, but they're not messy, and they dissolve with your saliva

Point 3: I agree wholeheartedly, but the decision isn't up to me

Wrestling games are also the work of Beelzebub.

Maybe I should get some... I have some of those crest things, but I sort of tear those apart trying to get them on. I need braces too, so that doesn't help.

Well, why not?! HM!? You're WEAK, that's why!

I hate those Crest strips, those things are awful.

Cause it's not my house and I'm poor, jerk
