It's been a good few days. Last Wednesday, the 13th, was the RKM Company Cookout at the Great Island Common in New Castle. It was an absolutely perfect day, and the food was great, and Emily went, and there was Wiffle and a water balloon toss, and RKM Feud, and all that good stuff. It was a really good day.
Saturday was another excellent NLP show in Saugus, although I had an absolutely mind-numbing headache throughout most of the show. I stopped at a Wendy's on the way home to try and get some food in me, but I couldn't eat the burger without feeling like I was gonna puke. I ended up pulling over on the side of the highway, at a Weigh Station, and heaved a couple times. Nothin came up, but I felt better after. Got home, ate the burger, told Emily that I wasn't feeling well, and she came over.
Oh, yeah, parents are gone to the Balsam's weekend, so house to myself.
So, yeah, Emily came over and I finished watching SmackDown! (Edge is Awesome) and we went to bed. She was kinda freaking out because her roommate ended up having to take her kitty to the nighttime emergency vet, but everything ended up okay and Reily's gonna be just fine.
I called RKM when I got home last night and explained that it was 12:15 in the morning, I'd just gotten home, I felt like shit on toast, and I wouldn't be coming in to work today, so Em and I slept til noon, when she had to go home to meet up with her mom and a girl who was looking at the apartment, and then go to work. So I hung around here and cleared some more stuff off my DVR until 6, when it was time to leave for Manchester.
I picked Malcolm up at work and we went to the Manchester Buffet (awesomesauce) then back to his apartment. We watched some baseball on ESPN, and some Olympics, then people started showing up and 11 o'clock rolled around and it was time for SummerSlam!
SummerSlam was, ultimately, disappointing, but the Hell in a Cell match definitely was worth the four bucks the show cost me.
Got home and kitty was waiting for me, now we're just chilling and it's bed soon.
Overall, good few days.
