The job fair was an absolute waste of my time...led me to being generally cheesed off for the rest of the day.
Emily's lease on her current place expires in March...and after that...we're getting a place.
Yes, ladies and gentlemen, I'm actually moving out of my parents' house...
This means I'm, like, an adult now or something!
It's scary as hell.
The most worrisome part is that I still don't have a full-time job, or another part-timer for that matter. I'm working on it, though!
Speaking of jobs someone from WMUR called my house this morning asking if I wanted to work tonight. This would be awesome except I wasn't at home, I was here at Emily's. They didn't call my cell phone, either, they called, spoke to my mom, and left a message with her. She called me saying that the person on the phone said I would know what number to call back. So I called Pete and left him a voice mail. This was obviously not the correct choice, as no one called me back.
I did my taxes yesterday and I'm getting $909 back, that'll help a bit. Apparently my aunt is also sending me a check for a thousand bucks, that's nice.
So, back to that other thing. Tomorrow we're going to check out this place in Rochester that's $695/mo and includes everything (yeah, I know, "What's wrong with it?" We'll find out tomorrow), then on Wednesday we're going to see a place in Dover. Meanwhile I'm hitting up Monster, JobsinNH, SeacoastCareers, and anything else I can think of to try and find a job.
Neither of us really WANTS to live in Rochester, but this place is too good a deal to pass up if it's truly as amazing as it seems. The 695/mo includes heat, hot water, central air, electricity, cable and washer and dryer located in the apartment.
And now, off to the jobs section of craigslist!
