So this afternoon, after my second interview at Old Navy, I went to Super Cuts to get a haircut. After that it was about 4:15, 4:20, so I figured I had time to get a pizza and get to RKM before the shift starts at 5.
I drive to Joe's NY Pizza, just down the block from Super Cuts, and place my order. The guy takes my card, runs it through, and tells me to have a seat, that it'll take about ten minutes.
I sit down and start playing a game on my DS. I keep looking up during the game to see if there's any pizzas waiting for me, and then continue playing.
I finally look at my watch and it's 4:50. I walk back up to the counter and the girl there now asks if she can help me. I ask her if my pizza's ready and she gets this confused look on her face. She asks me what I ordered, and I tell her, then she asks who I ordered from. I tell her it was the big guy who was here earlier and she says, "Oh, jeez, yeah, that's our morning driver, he must not have put the order into the computer, he's done this before." She goes on to say that she and the other guy who were working thought it was really odd that I was just sitting there, and they were wondering if maybe I was waiting for someone.
So I ask if they deliver out where RKM is, and she says yes, so I ask them to put it as a delivery for 7 o'clock. I explain that I'd already paid for it, and show her the receipt, and we're all kosher.
Did I mention that I hadn't had anything to eat yet? Cause I hadn't...I hadn't eaten...at all. I got up at 10 this morning, and didn't have a scrap to eat until 7pm.
In other news, the second interview at Old Navy seemed to go well and they'll give me a call tomorrow, apparently. Fingers crossed for that.
Now it's time for bed.
