Em and I went to look at an apartment today, it’s a small third-floor apartment in a house on Forest Street here in Dover. And it is small, but it’s not claustrophobic, which is nice. It’s third floor, meaning lots of slanted ceilings, but it does have a bedroom and a kitchen and a spare room and a tiny-ass bathroom.
It also has a “deck”
A “deck” which consists of a railinged-in area of the second floor room that you can only access by crawling out through the living room window, but still.
Speaking of windows, every room except the bathroom has one! I like this studio, but it only has the one window, which we can’t really open cause the river is too loud.
If we do move in to this place, which we definitely will if we’re accepted, we will definitely have to scale back on some things. A bunch of my stuff will end up going back to my folks’ house, and I’ll probably end up consolidating my DVDs into CD booklets instead of having the racks full of cases.
Things look good with this place, and it’s 55 dollars cheaper a month in rent.
