If you're in the area before they wash away the sidewalks across the street are slathered with anti-war slogans written in bright happy colorful sidewalk chalk, they include such gems as:
"Make Love Not War"
"Apathy is Complicity"
"Death does not Differentiate"
There are others but I can't be bothered to remember them right now. Let me comment on these three, though. The first is so completely cliched at this point that it doesn't even mean anything anymore. The second makes sense, but I had to look up the word "complicity." And the third could be better written using the word "discriminate" instead of "differentiate." Also, the first thing I thought of when I saw the third was, "Death doesn't differentiate...and neither does Herpes."
